Lucy's Cakes — Order & Business Policy
1. Order Confirmation — Orders are reviewed and confirmed within 2 business days with an invoice link. Orders are not confirmed until the invoice is received and payment is submitted. Contact: 718-272-8977 or info@lucyscakesandcatering.com.
2. Lead Time Requirements — Designer Cakes & Cupcakes require at least 5 business days; Standard Cakes & Cupcakes require at least 2 business days, once an order is confirmed.
3. Payment Policy — Orders under $160 require full payment at confirmation. Orders over $160 require a 50% deposit at confirmation, with the remaining balance due 24 hours before pick-up. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
4. Cancellations & Date Changes — Customers must contact Lucy's Cakes to reschedule. All payments remain non-refundable regardless of the reason. Date changes are subject to availability.
5. Pick-Up Policy — Pick-up is scheduled at time of confirmation, Tuesday–Saturday 10 AM–5 PM. Orders not collected within 24 hours may be forfeited. Customers approve the cake's visual appearance upon pick-up, and Lucy's Cakes is not responsible for damage after collection.
6. No Call / No Show — Orders not collected without prior contact are forfeited. No refund, credit, or date transfer will be issued.
7. Design & Artistry — Custom cakes are Lucy's Cakes' skilled interpretation of the customer's request, not exact replicas. Minor variations are not grounds for a refund.
8. Design Changes After Confirmation — Changes must be requested early and are subject to availability and price adjustments. Changes within 48 hours of pick-up cannot be guaranteed.
9. Non-Edible Decorations — Customers are responsible for removing all non-edible items (toppers, picks, ribbons, dowels) before cutting or serving. These will be identified at pick-up.
10. Allergy Disclosure — All products are prepared in a licensed commercial kitchen where common allergens may be present. Lucy's Cakes cannot guarantee allergen-free products. Customers are responsible for informing their guests.
11. Quality & Storage — Orders are baked fresh close to pick-up. Customers should store in a cool, dry place and consume within 48 hours. Lucy's Cakes is not responsible for product quality after collection.
12. Photography — Lucy's Cakes reserves the right to photograph finished products for marketing and portfolio use. Customers may opt out at the time of ordering.
